It was string trimmer line. With a failed attempt to melt it into the holes. Finish what he started and drill them out the correct size. It'll workthats a possibility..... or its string trimmer line that was used to tie on the handle.......

it'll work to melt the trimmer line into the holes? pretty sure I threw out those pieces.... need a low melting point plastic I suppose. or maybe hurricaine nuts lol
