So you hit 78, and that is actually a better number I take it? Pardon my rookie questions.
I don’t know that is better. Better for what?
It may give me better throttle response and fuel efficiency than 85 but 85 may get me better full throttle performance.
I kept it there because it was acceptable and convenient. I finished the saw at 10:00 pm Friday and had trees to drop 8:00 am saturday. That certainly weighted the scales a bit.
I’m not done by any means, more to try and test.

I think it's ported now. Sounds fat too.

Intake is at 78 still?

Porting hasn’t changed, I still want to go back in for more intake.
Chain is not as good as previous videos and Wood is frozen.

So your mods now consist of freezing your wood and utilizing chitty chains.
Huh. I gotta try that.
Nevermind, I did. My stuff still cuts slow!

I think my coldest day was -8 plus wind chill so maybe -16. That was when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade, we just had a snow day, news said two feet but we really got more. I made an igloo.

The rs is good too. I'm just curious.

I have never had to cut frozen wood, I'm assuming it's gnarly. It gets cold in AZ but not like what you got going on.
You won't get away with a lot of hook on the cutters. This is a grind I use in the summer and it does great even in the same hard ash I was cutting the other day, but frozen after a bunch of rain and it didn't like it at all, rolled 4 or 5 random cutters like this. I brought them all up today, should be fine now.

Just sent the snow your way, about 8-9" here today and more lake effect through the week to go with a bunch of colder temps.
Saw sounds great.
Thanks.
Yup, we’re looking at a cold week full of lake effect snow. I get to travel 160 mile round trip to work everyday this week too, fun.
