Storage advice

I am new to this forum and have been lurking for a while. The tips I read helped me to save a pole saw chain. I just got a ms250 which will normally be used one or twice a year. The main reason I bought it is for strom clean up. For storage I was planning on running stabilized gas until it ran dry then when it cools squirt some 2cycle oil in the spark plug hole and pulling the starter a few times before putting the plug back in. Cleaning the bar and liberally applying bar oil to the chain and bar. Am I missing anything

If I was planning on running a saw only once a year or less the I would probably fog it. I'd also drain the gas from the tank and keep a can of true fuel premixed on hand because it has a really good shelf life.

I'd find some ethanol free gas or use some true fuel.

I only run ethanol free fuel not other equipment but the trimmer and blower get used all year where u live
