Meh...what's a little lack of parallelness amongst friends and an assembly that will one day turn 14000 rims ?

It looks like the crank isn't true to the crankcase, the clearance on the right side varies a lot to my eyes when you turn it.
Crooked crank or a bad bearing pocket on the crankcase?

I think your crank is assembled poorly by our friends overseas.

Second viewing, that right side lobe looks like it took a couple good hits.

Definitely looks like a crank problem. Looks like the RH side crank lobe isn't true or the crank is bent. It looks to be angled towards the rod when the rod is at BDC

It's WAY out....
Flywheel side is true.
I haven't put a dial indicator on it yet but PTO end wobbles also...
Would be a vibrating SOB... IF it held together....

I put one together before this one and was surprised at the overall fit and finish. It was going to be my "baseline" saw and I WAS going to build this one for class 2....

remove screws and knock pins out heat bar plate with heat gun about 7 to 10 min the hold bar side case with glove and tap crank out of case with block off wood or it may fall out repeat for other side
get a bearing sep and pull bearings off crank and they can be reused

no need to ruin bearings just may need gasket and seals

install oil pump to install bearing in pto side

I honestly never heat them before pressing them in or out. All this time........should I have been?

A little assembly lube and bushings and the Dake does the rest.
