Stihl T27 Torx T-handle

Part of my job involves different type of fasteners ,torque,stress factors,cause of failures etc .As a general rule a good quality torx head bolt will have less failures than a socket head .Due in part the larger head area of the torx bolt .Wiha perhaps makes a better quality driver than others for hand applications .However when you get into industrial application often installed by robotics companies like Apex and Acme come into play .
The most simple explaination of a threaded faster,bolt is it acts like spring under tension .The threads act like individual coils of a spring load multiplied by the number of thread engaged factored by the type of material,aluminum,steel,plastic etc .

I never got a factory Stihl Wiha T27 when I bought a Kombi with 3 tools......
