Aye. Here we go. I never said that. I prefaced my statement by saying "just me." I am anal about keeping my stuff clean.
Just do what arborists do, use it till it weighs twice as much and when it breaks then let the mechanic do it...

European's really like that timed precision event.
We have a precision event up here in Canada called the Grande Prairie Precision Cut.
I don't even know if it"ll show up on google:D

It's been about 20 years since I last entered this event. Called the Grande Prairie Accuracy Cut, regional thing either Precision cut or Accuracy cut depending what part of Canada your in.

Actually when we did this event at our Manitoba competitions the judges measured the stack of wood

Block couldn't be any less then 16"
Stack of cookies no less then 4" and no more then 6".

I was up at my cabin with a friend who is a Carpenter. I was ready to cut a log into fire wood, and he says "let's measure them, I want them to be all the same when we stack them". I asked him how long he wanted them, and he said 18". I rapidly cut 5 rounds. He grabs his tape measure, goes out and measures them, and looks up and curses at me. They were all within 1/4" of 18"! Full disclosure, I doubt I could do that again!

However, I also cut this trailer load w/o measuring.

Its past 7-10-18 already. Did they post it as a joke? Or am I missing something?
