Hope it's ok to post this on the whole chainsaw section.

I have a really clean MS441 (Non-Mtronic) with full wrap, big cover and heat. Unfortunately it also has a broken crank behind the clutch. Still runs good and pulls 150 on the tester.

I really don't need another project currently and I know Arctic saws are hard to get south of the 49th, so just seeing if there's any interest for someone to tackle this.

I'd like to get in the range of $350 usd

Let me know what you think

How hard are these to put a crank in? I've only done Huskies. Do you have the clutch?

once you get to the crank its not so bad. Honestly the Tank/handle is the worst part. The intake takes a bit of patience too as there are two plenums to pull through. oh and the linkage for the carb is fun....but other then that....

@jockeydeuce send me a pm if nobody else wants to take this on. can you confirm heat works ? I've been looking for a HH for a while. this is no my first choice but maybe if the price were right. I have a running carbed 441 already and a bucket of parts.
