Well I thought I'd never do this but I'm selling off a very nice 361. I've owned this saw for about 2 years and its been nothing but a great saw.

Muffer mod and base gasket delete using Dirko HT squished to 0.020 I don't have a compression gauge but I'd guess its at least 180psi, you need to mean it when you start him lol. There are pics of the piston also. New pull cord I replaced the jug and rings with Caber's this last winter. I bought an OEM Malhe jug from Chainsaw Conservation Components and it looks like the owner had smoothed the intake and exhaust ports, no timing changes were made. I only used Stihl HP Ultra and Amsoil Saber 40:1 with 100LL or the best pump gas I can get here in California. The only chineasium parts on the saw are the dogs. The chain catcher is Stihl and the limiter tabs have been trimmed.

I realize I am a new seller on here but I have what I saw I have in the condition stated, I can refer you to my ebay account that is 100% feedback rating and 90+ reviews.

It does NOT come with the Sugi bar or large clutch cover in some of the pics.

The only reason I am selling is I have the chance to buy a mint condition NOS 361 and need the room. I think $475 and split shipping to the lower 48 is fair ?

If you have any questions ask away or I can be reached 209-419-1985 text preferred

Yes sir, here it is.

I just cringe if I see a pro saw idling on pavement or another hard surface. I take good care of my stuff most of the rash in the photo was before my owning it.

I cringe if I see one sitting on a hard surface .
It only takes a min to find something better to set them on. When mine ride in the suburban they ride on a shelf made with plywood, and when I clean them off I have a piece of plywood I set them on. Little effort keeps them nice longer.

mine ride on a Uhaul fleece blanket on the seat. Only the beaters see the carpet in the floor.:zplayita:

425 split shipping too much for this saw ?
Not for the right buyer, you just never know where or when the right buyer will show up.
I price them at what I expect to sell them for when I place the ad, it really doesn't matter whether it's the "right price" to anyone but me and the buyer. If it sells it sells, if it doesn't it doesn't, my prices don't usually change though.
I would place an ad on your local CL or on the Facebook selling pages as well.
GLWS.
BTW a great friend of mine is named Tyson and is from San Diego, I was born in Oceanside myself :).

Hey Bret,

I think we talked a bit over at AS a while back and now I find myself here as well haha This saw thing can be real addictive I'm finding out.

I've tried some of the CL stuff but thats nothing but tire kickers, tweakers, and people offering me half of my asking price!

Much rather see this saw go to someone here or AS that will appreciate a great pro saw that has been used but taken care of. Thats worth something to some folks.

I live about 100 miles due east of the Bay area in a nice red county! haha

Where in Central CA? I grew up in Alamo, and Walnut Creek. We raised our older three just East of Sacramento.
