So I’m going through ipl and having trouble deciphering some of the updated parts and service bulletin codes I think.

For example, items 23 and 24, there’s an arrow then multiple numbers. The numbers are the same for two different parts. I assume those are service bulletin numbers. Any techs out there that can help explain?

The arrows mean "up to this serial #", and then it posts the serial # followed by the date they made the change

Thanks buddy. Makes lots of sense. I overlooked the serial number. I like how Husky ipl has a whole picture dedicated to the serial number change, but that’s also why there’s so many different versions of Husky ipl for each model.
I’m still trying to sort out tank vent options. What parts do you have from the pic on your saw?

I believe I've seen each of the 4 (it looks like) styles on my saws. Both 026's have #25 on them though

So you have 22 for sure. Then do you have 23 and 24 with 25 over top?

I have 19 and 20 (which are grub screws), 25, and i believe 28.

23 and 24 go together as an update to 25, and they probably use 28

18, 19, 20, and 21 go together and it looks like they use 22

16 and 17 go together and it looks like they use 22 also

I think. Maybe

By the look of your pic, that’s an old tank. The nipple is offset in it.

My bet is that you need the #18 setup. #16 is what I thought you’d have and is readily available AM.

Most of what I see is also #25, like Kevin.

Me thinks you should go to bed a bit earlier

I can’t wrap my head around the date codes though. Mine I serial #237897889 so it falls in using 23&24. 25 shows a change in week 6 of 95 but seems the most common of the old style where 18 didn’t even show up till 43.2001, same date as the barrel type 16. Simple question, do you guys have anything other than the valve under part 25
My bet is I can make any of them work, I’m mostly trying to make this simple for the guy I’m selling it to. I don’t want a boomerang.
