Where do I find the flat rubber washers for behind the screw in type and flippy caps for Stihl? Same for the Huskies also? Never found these in quantities other singular. I think ever saw in my garage leaks oil. That's a lot of oil spots.

Do You mean the O-rings on the tank caps?

Purchase them by part number?

Sorry, I'm not a Stihl/Husqvarna guy.
Dolmar has nice round tank cap O-rings that can be purchased separately.

My guess would be that O-rings from the hardware store aren't oil/fuel resistant.
O-rings from the auto parts place might be.

What do these O-rings You need look like, have any pictures?

Ive tried o rings. They sometimes work. I bought a cpl bags of them from Fastenal. What I am looking for are the flat rubber washers. Its almost cheaper to buy the whole aftermarket cap than the washer.

Can you cut your own out of gasket material?

I have two saws from 1985. - never had to replace the O-rings on their fuel caps!

My Dolmar PS-6400 is in my possession and in usage since 2006., still has the factory original fuel/oil caps and O-rings.

I'd make sure that whatever You end up using is actually fuel and oil resistant.

Ethanol sometimes 15% not supposed to be but it is
Most don't have access to ethanol free fuel.

Yeah, was thinking about that myself.

Alcohol is a different ballpark combined with rubber.

Good call!

If your replacing fuel cap O rings a lot you can upgrade to better materials like Nitril (sp) brown rubber used for fuel injectors and tank valves. The price will shock you but they last. Stands up to heat and methanol.
