OK so finally got back to this thing ,pressure checked it at 10 psi failed miserably put it in water and bubbles right out the Venturi. I bent the tab down a little bit on the metering lever re-pressure checked held strong at 10 psi now I think I went a little too far .I have an extra one before I put it back in ill Bend it down just a smidge. The other one was perfectly flush with the carb surface but it must want to be a little bit lower.

Set the metering arm to specified spec. Which was below flush. .025. I think. And problem solved. Could it ever be possible that the diaphragm with the button could become worn and essentially be lower than it should. ? Just curious
