G'day
I have a bg66 blower and can't find much info on it or even another bg66 that has the same stop switch ect.
It has the easy start, spring AV and the Mari muffler thing.
Runs well but I wouldn't mind a bit more.
Has anyone got info on giving these blowers a bit more go?
Cheers

It looks like it was designed to be quieter than the standard blower. These usually spec out to lower performance. The exhaust and tube may be what is keeping its performance down.

Max Rpm with blower tube setup is 5800 with an idle speed of 2500.

And that large lump the bower tube is a silencer.

I'd buy a scrap bg86 and swap coils, muffler and air tube. The 66 was specifically designed to be quiet and is detuned appropriately.

Awesome thanks
I can open up the muffler and I'll look for a 86 coil.
