    All the best options for brands of saws are definitely in the US ,it’s nice to be spoilt for choice :).Thats one of the reasons I buy saws from the US choice and price.

    That was just some std hot roll sheet. To test the file.

    Need to figure out what the factory spikes are made from. Some of them are pretty stout.

    I had a similar idea in making some dogs, but wasn't sure what materials I could source. SS is the most common, but I've seen some tool steel. Just not sure how it's tempered, or if it would be too brittle for dogs.
