Interesting that no one mentioned pistons, is that just because stihl USA has dropped the oem piston price so much it isn't worth worrying about?
Actually opositte stihl has douvled piston prices in last 6 months,i bought a 48 mm 036 8 10 months ago 43 bucks w months ago same piston was 73 bucks.i went meteor for 35

That is what I am looking for. Thanks.
My 064 has 3 bolt holes for the ignition coil. I’m assuming it is the correct one. I bought a basket case 064 and I have 0 experience with the 1122 series saws. I have done several 1128 saws.
Thanks

I understand, Dave and HL Supply are site sponsors though, and I am willing to fork out a few extra shekels to support those guys. Not saying that everyone should, just that it is a factor for me.

I tried to re edit my post by removing my vendors name so no one gets upset.being as i was quoted my vendors name is still in there.we all know that building a saw adds up quickly.so on a carb and a piston i can save dang near 50 bucks. so for me i try to save as much i can.for example hd50 is over 60 bucks on ebay oem.i get same oem carb from a source for 43 bucks.so am i spose to buy the 60 some dollar carb?i dont have money to waste by goin with someone sight sponsor or no sight sponsor.im sorry its just buiss. I work to hard for my money.so from now on when soneone ask me i will just pm them and give info in pm.thank you

Looking at the Meteor piston kit which people seem to think is decent, is it good to use all of the kit, circlips and gudgeon pin included? I know the caber rings are good

Id get oem new c clips, reuse the factory wristpin bearing and the factory wristpin, even though most likely good to use the metoer stuff.also ive found the meteors cir clips to be thicker at times .
