What parts you looking for? Early 041 non av saws are the same pretty much. Early 041's had captured bearings on connecting rod instead of loose rollers like an 040 and the intake was different. Have quite a few parts for 040/early 041's. Even a couple nos top covers

An 040 pops up on north jersey Craigslist from time to time. It appears to be the same saw each time.

Hi Lehman, I built a nice one that is clean and runs nice. But I have so many parts left over I'm not that far away from another functional saw. That's what I'm trying to get together. I'd love to have a cover or two but don't want to take advantage of your generosity. I'm not a shelf queen kind of guy, all of my saws are runners. I just like the 040 because it was born the same year as me, 1966.

Look what parts you need and I'll get you what I have. I have enough to build mine when I get to it. I just want to have one to go in collection with my red and white 030,031,041,07 and 08. Bought all these saws from a dealer that quit. The owner and I got to be friends and he let me pick stuff before he had his auction. Gave me a good price so I'm willing to pass on some stuff if I have it. I run all mine also
