SOLD Stihl 038 Magnum II w/25" Bar-chain

I am going to assume you all know the history of these saws. Many consider them to be one of the best Stihl ever made. I love them so much, I have 3!. But, I need to be reasonable and thin the herd.
This baby is one of the ones made in Brazil (serial # starts with 3, not 1 which would indicate West Germany).
From a single owner who purchased new. This guy was a fanatic about caring for power equipment as the pics show. Bar is a Stihl and in good shape. I would say chain is at 80%.

Yes, indeed!
There are times when I think I should keep all of them, but my favorite 038 Mag II has a wrap, so that is going in the coffin with me!

Not sure where in Pa you are, a few years ago I flipped a real clean 038mag and easily got $450 for it through a Craigslist meet up. Guy was near Mechanicsburg. I had a lot of interest on ebay as well, but the face to face was easier. GLWS.

CL is always my last resort. Have been selling lower grade saws there for years. Unfortunately, most CL shoppers have no idea of the value of this particular saw. Usual response is: "Would you take 100.00 for it?"
I just listed a brand new never fueled/fired Echo CS 590 Timberwolf for 50.00 less than retail. First responder only wanted to pay 50.00!
