Ok this was the muffler cover that was on the saw. I had planned on switching covers between the 024 and the 026 but forgot to. Well at least I'm raising the intake...

I would drill the holes bigger or better yet use a cutting wheel on a dremel and connect the dots!

Carve it open like the one in Brewz picture. I did mine almost identical, and it absolutely rips for a stock saw. Is your back half wide open, or baffled?

I have the flocked version not the nylon. Does the oem flocked one flow good enough? At least this newer version is reasonably priced.
No idea on the OEM flocked flow.

The AM Nylon pro style MS260 filters flow just fine and are really cheap. I actually may have some here for you Pat. I gotta look. I'll send em out to you if I do.

Ok I got to run both saws today same size bar and out of the box .325 RS

After watching I think I need to richen up the 026 a bit.

Hears the hacked up muffler I run on the 026 intell I build on right.
Here's another thing the muffler was wet inside?
Any ideas?

Muffler always wet on breakin. Running great.

Seems like it wants lower rakers to me. 024 surprising. What was done to it?

I got happy with the Dremel inside that 024 I widened the transfers to far towards the intake and it snagged a ring more then once. Then I learned you can do a 180 with the piston and been running it that way for awhile. I opened it up everywhere and deleted the base gasket that's it.
