Have a 024 wood boss to sell, PHO.

I bought this saw a year or so ago, as a project, ain't done anything with it. Piston is scored, not sure if it was straight gassed, or it has a air leak. Pretty clean saw cosmetically. Clutch cover is plastic, probably came from a 029 or something.

I would like $125, shipped via FedEx.

I have one just like it and it's still running after 24 years. It can be upgraded to an 026, and I did that on anther one because the air filter was missing upon arrival. I restored yet another after a guy's brother backed over it with his pickup truck. All three run today.

Need a 024 super to upgrade to 026. Regular 024 has a shorter stroke. 024 super and 026 share same stroke but smaller bore on super.

That's correct. I believe mine was the 024 AVS. The "S" stands for super if I am not mistaken. When I upgraded, I had to buy some new plastic, new carb, and new air filter. Not sure it was worth it, but one of my friends tried the saw and couldn't wait to buy it from me.

I'm surprised this saw is not already sold, especially at this good price. I've always thought that the 024 was a better saw than the 025 clam shell. For less than $50 you could rebuild the top end and have a winner.

I was surprised also, but for a different reason.

The other day I signed in and I got an alert my 024 for sail ad was bumped from 6 months ago, at 1st I thought maybe the guy I sold it to was posting a update he rebuilt it....

Then I realized that was not the case.

This saw was sold within a few hours of it being posted. I marked the thread title SOLD, see the big red box that says SOLD.

I sold this 024, and a 024 super at the same time. Somewhere buried from being 6 months old, is the 024 super for sail thread. $1.00 if you go bump that one also.....

LOL

You guys break me up. Maybe what we all need is a sales secretary with clerical skills and wears short Husqvarna shorts or leans forward with a low-cut top.
