Saw my buddy that hauls the fuel for the UP4014. Union Pacific is cutting WAY back on its steam program for 2020. Only 1 trip planned for the season-a 30 day run to Sacramento to Portland and back starting in mid August.

Hell, they have put is seems 100,000 miles on 4014 last year! Definitely not like filling up a toyota Corolla!

That and rail revenue is on a steep decline. Rather see them keep employees and park the steam.
