The only thing you'd be stumbling on is a few hundred bucks profit if the deal is legit. I'm betting it's a spammer or worse since there's no contact number and two little red flags...the "obo" and the "new plug!" Comment trying to appear to have absolutely no knowledge of the saw. Lol

Ya kinda hard to buy it if there's no way to reach the seller. Maybe he's just an idiot. I just saw a similar ms440 sell for $150 so you never know.

The pictures don't pop up as duplicates in a reverse image search. Leads me to believe it is not likely spam. It could be but usually the spammers use the same images over and over and that doesn't seem to be the case here I'd say go check it out

I'm in Michigan right now so that helps deter the temptation. I don't see anything in the ad that would lead me to believe it's anything other than someone trying to sell a saw. With that bar, unless it's full of Asian parts, I believe that to be a great price. The bar alone is a $100 item. Lots of people don't put a phone number on a CL ad. I wish they would but it is a common practice.

You can always justify another saw.

Something about that makes me wonder?
And what is it with Florida and scammers? I've been there and done that with ebay before.

Talking to a guy now about these two saws. I have a feeling they're stolen as he knows nothing about chainsaw.

Just because someone owns saws and knows nothing about them, doesn't mean he/she stole them. It would certainly have my radar on high intensity but it's not unusual for someone to come by something they don't use or want to keep. Examples are divorces, took them in lieu of money owed them (this is fairly common), inheritance/estate, got them with a storage unit they purchased, left behind in a rental property, etc.
So maybe go check them out...
