If it runs fine once fired up, then it’s not likely the impulseits using wj118 carb for husky 390 xp with choke assbly removed. if i prime it, it starts and runs great. once i shut it off it won restart without being primed again. im wondering if i should just change the pulse line and fuel line.

Could give it a lil' squirt right after you shut it down. That would prime it for next timeThank you, I think your right. I opened the low side and raised the idle some more I can now get it to start but it takes two to three pulls which isn't great for competition but it will get there.

Or just shut it down wiff your thumb on the carb.Could give it a lil' squirt right after you shut it down. That would prime it for next time
