Hey guys,

never sold anything here but am a long time reader of this site and "the other one". i also sell lots of parts on ebay.

Anyway, I recently acquired this decently clean west German 10mm 044 from a friend that wasn't going to do anything with it. the top end was smoked and was just sitting in his garage.

I sourced a good slant fin cylinder from jockeydeuce and paired it up with a new 10mm meteor from the greek.

I pressure/vacuum tested the saw, new carb kit and she runs great / everything works. the squish is set right at .020 - three bond with no base gasket.

The saw needs a new air filter (sorry i dont have one) and also the tank vent insert that goes in the end of the rubber tank vent hose.

Ok lol do you honestly know though.ive never seen one with carb like that im corious.i have 2 and worked on sev and hadnt seen that.mine has traditional horn

you mean the air filter set up from what i can tell on the saw you have the early 044 without the HD filter set up.
they are out there but few and far between.

Yes its the early non HD filter setup, Also its a zama carb.
