Was low 20s here today, but windy, so it felt colder. Supposed to be a little warmer tomorrow, followed by 3-6" tomorrow night, then a few days of bitter cold.

Been a very strange winter this year. If all the rain we had was snow, we would be borrowing through tunnels by now!

Looking at pictures of trees that have been climbed is a lot more pleasurable than during the time of the climb... All those "what ifs" going through your mind continuously. Cutting off a big top and having the tree sling you back and forth. Being up in a mostly dead tree and wondering if it's just going to snap off at the ground as a result of the aerial activity and so forth. Good job on getting that thing down.

I like the plastic piston stop that came with the ring compressors. Rope was not always user friendly.

Thats what I was using Mike. But it was old, seen its battles. Time to get another one. I started with a nylon piston stop, the one I use on my 201t thats got a 14mm end, but it screwed up the threads on the stop. The clutch was on there. Time to get a new one like the white one that comes with the ring compressors.

Walked through Venice Italy for a couple hours, what a PITA.
Every other person had its mobile phone in GPS mode, so did I and my coworkers.
Three smartphones running Google Maps and GPS navigation applications, we walked in circles for over an hour getting farther away from our parked car with every turn.

This is the only thing I will remember Venice by, good taste, steep price.

FYI, Italian pizza is highly overrated, the few we ate were all fairly bland.

But they sure don't skimp on their Mortadella

I have yet to spot a true Italian beauty.
I guess that visiting in the summer would increase the chance for that.

P.S.:
Yes, I drank German beer in Italy!

Went & cut a load this morning. Took a little longer to fill this truck, than my Toyota. It sure unloads quicker though  Holds a little more too...lol

That sure is some pretty country you live in..luv the mountains...
Give it a few weeks, & it'll be stunning. This is the "ugly" time of year. Once everything starts greenin up, wow.

I absolutely love where I live. Next time I move, it'll be to the cemetery.
