Playing with my Dolmar PS-550 in my firewood log pile.
Bucked up two logs, the PS-550 is doing great with a new chain, Oregon semi chisel courtesy of Sondre @SOS Ridgerider - thank You very much my friend.

I made good progress, four logs bucked, split and stacked.
My dad did all the stacking, good thing too because I really dislike stacking.
The rack for next winters firewood is full.

My Dolmar PS-550 and PS-7310 came out to play today.
My old faithful dragon slayer did all the splitting.

It was a good day spent outside in the fresh air doing something useful.

5 of my friends and myself cut a big fir tree for fire wood. It had around 2 cords of wood in it. We had a good line up of saws. Husky 394, 390, 288 281, 272 and a dolmar 120si. I'm bad at remembering to take pictures but I got one of the trucks loaded.

Whatchu doing working?
And can I borrow that bucket truck......

Trying to make a sale?

Not really but always looking to see what people are using and how they like them. Our primary supplier of outdoor commercial LED pulled out of Canada in November so I am stilling looking at what brand(s) we are going to stock. Installer input is important to me.

I have one more to get installed...I’ll check in the morning.

Thanks.

Swapped out the carb on my ms460 for a Chinese pos that I had laying around. It runs great now. It was randomly leaning out. I'm a little skeptical of the 20 dollar carb. Not sure what is wrong with the oem walbro but need to get a sonic cleaner and research possible issues with them.

You are lucky the Asian carb worked well, there have been a lot of issues with them recently. (The older ones seemed to work better than the newer ones).

You don't need a sonic cleaner for your car (although they are nice), a gasket kit and some carb cleaner should be able to get it done.

I cleaned it with carb cleaner and blew air through it and put a lot in it last year when I got it. It never did ran great. The Asian carb came with the saw. The shop I bought it from was gonna through the Asian carb on it and sell it. I bought it and went through the carb and there was some epoxy like stuff in the needle and seat area. So I picked it out and cleaned it best I could. I wonder if a sonic cleaner might break some hidden grime loose. Worth a try before I buy an oem carb or perhaps try an hd50.

Thanks.

Econolight is primarily what we use. I thought that is what I was I stalling, but wanted to verify first. Lol. Haven’t fired them up yet. Installation on these was fairly easy, and user friendly.

Thanks, amazing the differences in different markets. We wouldn’t supply those, all outdoor is typically DLC or DLC Premium rated. We supply very little LED with the old style look, the optics are just terrible.
