Got ya rules like that very from state to state here. In Kansas you just have to have the BARE minimum. While all states around us have what you talk about.

You see some real junkers on the road here and if you look close enough you'll see me in one too.
Will I see You through the doors window or the doors panel? :p

Made a few rounds today of White Oak … heavy grass/weeds all around + rocks, so 2 28" bar saws did most of the damage. My MOFO 460 and CFB Hybrid both felt very strong.

The large trunk was on a rock wall, but I managed to do all the rounds w/o rocking a chain, then I went to the smaller stuff (20" bars) on a 460 w/HL Supply jug and Asian 440 BB, and ended up rocking one of the 20" chains!

The MOFO and CFB saws were just animals, and the Asian 440 BB also ran very well, but the 460 with that $20 HL Supply jug (and Meteor piston) was stronger than the Asin BB. I just cleaned up the ports and lowered the intake. Those jugs have real nice ports, especially the transfer ports. Rare in an AM jug!

Pics were limited as I got rained out by Hurricane like Rain, but was glad to get done what I got done and went home wet. Also, forgot to close the car windows … hate that!

Ya the state to state rules are crazy different! Like helmet law, and riding in the back of a truck, some states it’s just illegal, some if all the available seatbelts are taken you can sit so many and some stated there are various age limitations, just crazy! I am glad we don’t have to do annual inspections here, I don’t even have deq here, so that’s nice! But here, a person is responsible for compliance, but it has to be obvious violations, they won’t check your breaks!

The gun carry laws/rules (sometimes they are not even laws) are so screwed up! Not only am I on the CT border, but with NYS there are so many darn restrictions. Even though they may give you the permit, they make it so no one but law enforcement will carry.

My oldest and my nephew carved out some deep berms on one of my ATV trails so I took Austin down in the woods to fill the mud holes in. I may have been looking for an excuse to play with my loader in my gravel pit. I really really want to get a back hoe, I can manage digging with the loader but it’s obviously not ideal or particularly fast.

We cut 7 cord of wood today for my Niece and her Fiancée. I did about 80% of the cutting, the others were more involved with the Excavator, the splitting and stacking.

It was almost all Hickory and Oak, and more Hickory than Oak. I used a lot of different saws today, but when the Excavator starting pulling the larger Hickory logs, two of my Asian 660s got a good workout! (MOFO/Eranor and the T4Driller I put together yesterday).

Both saws ran great and got some breakin time.

Drove through a lot of forest fire smoke in British Columbia today. I heard on the radio up here that there's 536 fires. I can't even count that high without help. When we were in Northwest Territories, they had smoke in the air there from the B.C. fires. Guess it's all across Canada now as it's been burning for about a month.

Well not.just today but all weekend we have been camping. Started out reel shi ty. Just got set up and having suppor yesterday and and the sink tap came unthreaded sone how and blew water all over the travle trailer. Then i got to find the scatered parts and put back togeather. At this point i was ready to go home. Wasnt having a good day.

Today was better. Got the fishing poles out and had a big pike hit the buzz bait a couple times. Went back to that spot after suppor and the big old monster hit again. This time she was game on. Well i thought anyhow. It dove down i let him tire himself out. People were starting to see i had a big fish on and coming to watch. Then it came to the top. Jumped out the water. Gave a head shake , spit the hook.( i swear this is wher he smiled at me and said better luck next time buddy) and swam off. Well now i wont sleep tonight. I got me a date in the morning to try and land the bugger.
Lots of people seen it jump oit the water so they know its no fish story lol.

Well im off to bead now to dream about this darn big pike.
