How's those forrester platinums
Holding up?
The regular one's have been good

That’s the first one I’ve had and it’s pretty new. That being said, I’m pretty happy with it so far as it’s held up well.

Today was spent working on a rental property in Milton, FL. Removed a toilet, installed new flooring and trim and reinstalled the toilet after repairing the ancient cast iron flange. Also dealt with an HVAC guy and made the requisite trip to Home Depot. Groundi painted cabinets and hung miniblinds in the meantime. There's a big stump that needs to be shortened next to the patio but it's a relatively low priority. I just know there's going to be metal in it. Maybe I can borrow a saw...

Finally finished up and installed my cooling / warming (warming counter if the radiators are running) counter in my kitchen.

Installed oak trim as backer boards and decoration.

Iam still waiting for my trim for my kitchen which should be here next week. The reason the brackets are not evenly spaced is because I didn't think about doing something like this when I remodeled my kitchen in the fall or else I would've put in some nailers.

The top is 1/4" X 18" X 5' steel plate. The holes are drilled let the heat from the radiator circulate better in the winter time.

Close up of the top. My wife wanted it painted with a silver hammered spray paint. I think it looks good but when taking stuff out of the oven and setting it on the top is going to scratch the paint. If at some point when I get some time at the forge I think I am going to forge a steel trivit with pegs so I can slide it down into the holes that I drilled. I'll just leave those unpainted.
