Determined that his 394 & 395 cylinders from jmssaws were ok. Runout under .001
I think Kevin @Moparmyway did the machine work on them.
Thanks for all the advice on the lathe Kevin!

Left early to drive to Eureka, it took 2 hours and 15 minutes to go 82 miles.
US 101 is *f-wordered up after two wet winters, first 15 miles has 4 one lane signal controlled sections, some parts resemble frozen mud ruts.
Add in white knuckle flatlanders and sight seers and it goes slow.

Yep and always will be.
In 1966 we moved to what was called Requa, meaning north of the Klamath, our house was on Rudisill Rd.
We were at the south end of Last Chance Grade, which routinely slabs off and falls a 1000 feet into the Pacific .
Before going to school we listened for trucks, no trucks, no road, no school.

Groundi pulled the tree over with the truck while the stump below the cut was cracking apart. I was hoping it would all go in the desired direction which it mostly did other than part of the top getting hung in another tree which is visible in this picture. No harm, no foul. Tree hit the ground safely while the customer was observing from his porch swing.

Took a few trees down for a friend this AM, a few small Cherry and a mid size Red Maple that I had to tie. They were all over hanging his lawn or house at his new place, which has been vacant for a while.

There are several more to go, some will be interesting. Specifically, a Cherry is inter twined in some other trees, crocked and twisted as heck.

Unloaded a trailer load of wood.
The plugged in rv to get ready for long weekend camping.
Decided to check the awning cause it gave me trouble last time. Went to put out and stopped couple inchs out and wouldnt do anything. Checked fuses breakers. All good. Pkayed with switch nothing. Walk to house to get multimeter and tools. Try again first and worked perfect. Stupid POS electric awning.
Trailer was baught new last year and only used five time. Pretty handy.
Now got to wait for it to bugger up so i can check stuff. Makes it hard when its not all the time.

The handy part is im just outside my warranty by 2 months.

After doing some trim painting on a rental property, I spent time in the shop servicing chainsaws. Partly getting ready for a tree job on Friday but also keeping in mind Irma may come up this way.
