My first thought? Very cool. We need more Dolmars round this joint, my second thought (if I may be so bold) is what did it cost? And my third...who will be porting it? Hehe

Never seen or handled one, but if its like other dolmar/makitas its absolutely top quality. No idea on parts availability, probly pretty decent on your side of the pond. Pics or it didnt happen....

I think they are cool, look cool and sound cool. My thoughts exactly, deserve a better rep, probs crap dealer support tbh. It was £280 posted in GWO. Third is me. Need to get some numbers off people and tbh I have a 340/346xp hybrid that will be degreed first when I get the chance.

How does an 87cc reed valved Mac compare? One with boost ports?

Just asking to learn... not trying to derail or start a brand war.

I would expect the 9000 to crush it. More rpm and torque.

Just rebuilt a 9010. Oils better than anything I have ever owned other than a 125 Mac. Strong runner with a 32 in oak with full comp chain. Parts are a little tough. Well built machines.

This one was missing the ID tag too.

I did. I have always been intrigued with this dolmar and the 7900. 084 is still in the process. Just waiting on a few parts. I am excited to play with it
