Sounds to me like chain not sharpest as it could be, to little hook as well, rakers a bit high. It’s been known for rakers to be a bit high right out of the box.
So what everyone else has said before...
I had a self feed issue, it was down to not having a good edge on the teef, I cured it by sharpening some more and then checking the rakers again..
Really need a few close ups/better pics of teef, and pics of chips/sawdust and a vid of saw cutting..
Btw.noodling is a bit different than crosscutting...
