My humble "rig".

20" B&C on my Dolmar PS-7310 for measure, trailer tires are tiny 4x8" (like those on a wheelbarrow).
Trailer measures 80cm wide x 120cm deep x 100cm tall with the lid raised, it will hold exactly 1 cubic meter of volume.
The trailer is rated at merely 400kg load, but I hauled much more in it.

Car engine is 1.6 liter gasoline, atmospheric, fuel injected, inline 4 cylinder 8 valve - 86HP.

This setup serves all my needs and requirements.
Most of the time it is completely unused, especially the trailer - but when needed it really comes in handy.

In Croatia I can not legally haul a trailer rated over 750kg without a special license. o_O

Nice set up.

Over here as far as I know you can go up to 26,000lbs/11793kg before need to get a class A license

In Croatia (Europe) You need yet another special license to legally drive a vehicle over 3500kg.

When You get a (big rig) truck license You need another license to legally haul a trailer.

I have been waiting a long time to get this all done.

Bought the truck with a horrible quality Scorpion paper thin bed liner. I messed it up over the years and the bed was rusting in spots.

Cleaned it all up and got it Line-X, then found a used BAKFlip M4 cover.

If you’re around East GA, call up Line-X Savannah on Abercorn. Great people, informative, honest about exceptions and almost half the price of the other line-x quote I had.

What a difference and now I have somewhere dry and a little more safe to store stuff. I know of the ease of breaking into the BAKFlip. I’m gonna put together a block for that.

no more carrying hay in this truck. I’m using the trailer for hay duty from now on.

Someday I'll have one of those fancy new trucks. Waiting on a built 4r100 for the old 7.3. Pedestal o-rings on the list. Atleast there easy to work on. And no emissions BS.

the goal in the next two years is to remove all the epa crap on the super duty.

simplicity is a luxury, and the greatest luxury in a vehicle is it turning on everytime you need it.

What's it run to have a modern truck deleted? I've heard upwards of 5k but that was just in conversation.

3k is about what you should expect which includes labor, tuner, EGR hardware, and exhaust. If spending close to 5k, they must have done something like an aftermarket fuel delivery system as well.

Just this week, I had my DEF deleted, EGR deleted, and retuned (about 50 more HP). No custom tuner, no new exhaust, no tranny upgrades, etc....$850. This is what the guy recommended, but said he could do as much as I was willing to pay for. The difference it made is night and day.

That’s a really good deal imo. Mine is pretty much getting the same exact thing done right now. It’s gonna run about me about $1300. Guy told me the same thing. I can take it as far as you want if your willing to spend it.

Thank you all for your answers.
My trucks pretty basic. 6637 filter setup,38R,3 inch turbo back no muffler, and stock sticks. Most likely go with DP or TW tunes when funds allow after the trans goes in.

TW will not let you down. DP quite possibly.

I did my 17 F250 for $1150 tuner and delete pipe. I did the labor myself and got the Switch on the fly tuning. There’s more expensive and maybe one cheaper on the tuner but I’m well pleased with what I have. The Def was being used up like crazy so I wanted to fix a problem before it stranded us.

Whoa. $850 - $1300. That sounds amazing.

I just started the research, can’t even find a shop near me. Nearest thing that looks like pros is in Atlanta those powerstroke deisel help guys on YouTube.

if I could find a shop that could do it for $850 I would be parking the car outside there shop right now and dropping off the keys.

Edit: damn. That’s some low prices. As above I always thought that delete stuff was in the $5k range and not realistically something I could afford. If anyone is in GA and knows of a shop that does this work let me know.

Whose tuning did you use Mike? How do you like it? I used GDP on my 17 6.7 and i am very happy with it.

are these one time flashes or are you getting a handheld device or ability to change tunes. Eco, tow, go fast, etc. ?

I ask because i don't understand how you guys are getting these prices, just the tuners arein the $500-1000 range.

Not a one time flash. Mine is through an ez-lynk device that comes with the tunes files. That tuner with tunes runs $1200-$1300. With that, you get many different engine and transmission tune files that you can download and change any time you want. You can opt for the shift on the fly switch which allows you to change your horsepower levels with a rotary switch. You just download a sotf file from the tuner device and then you can adjust your horsepower up and down (for example 30-220hp) by turning that rotary switch. The tuner also comes with support from the tuning company. You can chat with them through the ez-lynk app and ask them questions or even send them diagnostic information from the truck. They will also send emails periodically with new files whenever they create new or updated files to change certain things about how the engine or transmission operate.

GDP is what I got. I like them pretty good. On the mid levels it shifts kind of hard sometimes.

I did the labor myself. My tuner and gauge is plugged in all the time. It loads the shift on the fly tunes once and a switch is in the cab to change from 1-5. I bought the $180 delete pipe and just changed it.
