I’m contemplating sending Buckin’ an email & asking what it would cost to fix me up an Arvika & Be Just Be Done with it.
It prolly won't be cheap, but well worth it I think. I thought I saw that the Arvika was supposed to be available in the US soon.

View attachment 92664 My phone camera don't do justice to pics compared to my digital Nikon SLR, but I can load pics from muh phone easy. So here goes 4 Hsell, out I'll venture in the dark with torch in mu mouth 4 the phantom bevel with blow-torched starter cord hit protection...

That's a corker too

High to Damn High.

I’ve not seen any EBay, the Phantoms in 4 1/2 # Plumb on this side of the water.

The only ones I’m seeing would cost over $100 with Shipping from AUS., head only.

Or this one

I find if your prepared to put a handle on yourself that can be the best way on Ebay, they seem to fetch much more $$ with a handle. I'll keep my eyes peeled and if anything turns up I'll let you know. Shipping to the US is much cheaper than from the US though avenues outside EBay. I'm pretty sure the Plumb Tasmanian was produced here so that's why you won't find any in the states under that name. The little chunk of land at the bottom of our map is called Tasmania.

I've been looking at racing axes like those used in Stihl Timbersports, those polished shiny pieces command $$! Oxhead (Germany), Tuatahi Kingi (NZ), Olkensolf?? & a few other makes with the scollops cut out on the side edges. But it seems $350-550 is required to play that game.

Grabbed a couple single bit heads at a flee market in Alabama. The toe is pretty worn on the plumb but I don’t care. Haven’t decided if I’m going to even in out or just sharpen it up and use it as is. The other is a Belknap Bluegrass axe. The two hatchets were my dads, one is a Plumb scouts hatchet the other is a Keen Cutter.
