started a new project this week started off with a helko works 4 1\2 LB axe and a elwell no5 axe that had a split and cut it in half

I tried it on a a couple of pieces of straight larch and it fired them through ok
The split was a bit stringy but it ain't finished yet
All the welds are rough and it needs a lot of work typing up and polishing

a local agri mechanic welded this one , my welding is not tidy at all

I weighed that splitter and it was 10lb 1oz
so by the time I grind and polish bang on 10lb
