I finally broke my ax's handle, for the second time - no chance to save it this time around.
I reseated the ax on a custom made oak handle.

Got this package in the mail today from some redneck I never met. He took it upon him self to see that I had a few nice axes to add to my collection. Any who...these baby's were rapped tighter than a nuns u no what, it's good my ole pocket blade had a fair edge on it. Im sure he's gonna laugh when he reads this.
Now mind you 1 pkg an it keeps givin.

That handle dont look to bad from here. Scrape it a bit and put a bunch of boiled linseed oil on the handle should look real good for an old heirloom.

Handle is split. And there was no top. Hence why I needed to "RE-HANDLE" it.
Not really sure how you redneck mountain guys think. But if the handle is no good and non-usable, then it's time to rehandle the ax.
Grain orientation wasn't that great either.
