Short chain vs long chain cutting speed

I tried switching from .325 7pin to 3/8 7 pin on a ported 50cc saw. The 3/8 rim is bigger, so there is less torque to the chain. It was noticeable.

Wider cutters on 3/8" too, it sums up!
