I have been trying to find a real world weight of a Stihl es light 25” 3003 000 2231. 3/8 .050 84 bar. I have found 20” and 32” but I can’t find other weights. Anyone have a source?

I posted weights of 20,25,28 and 32 es-light weights on here somewhere around January 2017 but I can not find it. The search doesn't work worth a *s-word. Maybe you'll have better luck. I will be out in the shop later this afternoon and will weigh them again.

20" ES light 3/8-.050 =2lb. 0.9oz.
25" ES =3lb. 10.7oz.
25" ES light =2lb. 9.6oz.
28" ES =3lb. 14.2oz
28" ES wide nose. =4lb. 1.7oz.
28" ES light. =2lb. 12.0oz.
32" ES light. =3lb. 5.2 oz.

Thanks, I had found that and while he had the es light weights for the 20” 28” 32” and 36,” there is not any 24-25” es lights. Just standard ES in that 24-25 length.

Guide bars: Rollomatic ES Light, 3/8", 1,6 mm, 63 cm / 25"
30030002031 VS 2038 for the 28" bar.
30030002021 for the 20" light.

Whether you can get them stateside is another matter.

We have no problems getting the bars. They are pretty abundant, if you want to pay the price. I was inquiring about their weights.

I PM'd, texted and sent bat signals to our resident Tsumara seller asking about buying a 16". No response.

It is Tsumara PN 200FK4.
D025, 3/8, .50 for the 16"

The same in 18" is PN 201FK4

Correct. But the 16” is not light weight, the 18” is.

- 24" tsumura redesigned 050 3/8 84dl = 2lbs 7 oz (so it dropped some weight)

- 24/25" Stihl es light 063 3/8 84dl = 2lbs 8.5oz

not exact apples to apples but I would guess

- 24" tsumura 063 would be approx 1-2oz more (because tsumura uses thicker bar on the 063s)

- 24/25" stihl in 050 would be approx 1oz more @ 2lbs 9.5 oz. (because stihl uses the same thickness bar on 063 or 050...so with 050 there would be more metal left in the bar)

I mainly wanted to compare a Tsumura light to the Stihl ES light. I was curious how much difference there was between the two. The Tsumura is so much cheaper.

And it looks better!
