026 I thought I finished yesterday. My second oem seal failure ever. This one leaked between the oem bearing and the seal. Was installed the same way I do them all the time with factory seal tools.

Couldn’t tune idle, was all over the place. Was fine, then it wasn’t, then it was. The sure fire sign all isn’t well and there is likely a leak.

Went from looking like this

Looks like the shipping dept needs to clean up some of those boxes lol.
Funny how much it takes to get a saw out the door.
Great runner.

Outer portion on the seal maybe out of round? It happens. I experienced a "batch" of 4T40 transaxle seals like that.
They would drive in fine, look fine, but leak around the outer perimeter of the seal.
Must have been stepped on at the factory.

Just what it was.

Touched up a 25" square chain. Full comp RS 3/8 squarefiled. 7 pin. Gonna refire saw and load it up.

I like to torture test a saw before it leaves. Less cost and headaches than trying to right a mishap after the owner receives it.

Stay tuned for an annoyingly long typical Mofo Video.

Look on the bright side, you don't have to stand in knee deep snow to make said video.
I can't even find my woodpile.

Here it is. I thought maybe another airleak, but there is an issue with the spring and switch on the saw. I also think it just got hot. Its tuned to 13800 and actually held 10k in the cut at times with light pressure.

The second vid was really just to check idle. Its getting boxed up and i wont miss it one bit when it leaves.

I think it’s kind of Homo sitting in a shooting shack with a Milwaukee electric heat coat & talking smack about wrap handles whilst shooting a “you’re #1” selfie: but mainly the smack talking about wrap handles.
