;)It's hard to spot, but the bar on this Treemonkeyed 361 is a 73 VS a 75. I used an angle grinder and carbide drill bits.

Hrm.. that might be a TLandrum saw...I forget...
So you converted a husky bar to stihl mount? That might actually be easier than fitting the stihl to the husky lol.

Easier to mount, for sure. But the amount of work needed - I wouldn't try it on one of those rock hard SugiHara bars. I had to bob the tail quite a bit if I recall.

Enlarging it from 9mm to 12mm was a bit of a pain, but it is way easier to mount than the Stihl bar on my 288 is. I have to use a screwdriver to flip new chain onto the bar until the chain loosens up a bit.

I had to redrill some holes and bob the arse off this bar, too;

The stihl bar is definitely tougher made than the oregon. Especially the older one that I had with the 6 rivet tip. I had to grind the slot forward about a inch and half, also drilled the adjuster holes out to fit the 372/390 bar adjuster stud. Also drilled the oiler holes out to the tsumura/sugi size. Not easy cutting through the hardened bar steel.

I tired to re drill some holes in AM outer dogs, and no way! ended up punching them!
Yup my drill bits weren’t doing nothing to the bar adjuster holes. I had to use the carbide burr to grind them larger. The oiler holes were easy but that’s because the metal is thinner there.
