They were within 1.5 secs of each other. Real close considering the log size. The wood was hard maple and they had the same 24” b/c setup.

Which saw felt stronger?
Which saw felt faster?
Both looked good, but I would go with the 046 personally.
To be honest they felt about the same. I had to time them to tell the difference. The 461 has a tad more off idle torque, but once you spin up the 46 it has about the same torque. I wouldn’t sell either one to buy the other put it that way.

Its the quad port vs dual port.
They both sounded strong.
Maybe you need to get that 046 Arctic MMWS'd. LOL
We can compare the 046s next time we meet. Use same bar and chain same wood deal and time the cuts.

The oiler is good enough on 461/046 with 24/28” bar which is the most I’ll run on a 70cc class stock or ported in hardwood. Hopefully the 462 oiler is as good or better.
