Lol. What do the XP, XPW designations all mean? Obviously some are bigger and make more power.

Xpw means wrap handle and usually the 75cc P/C depending on the year. Xp is the standard handlebar and 71cc.

@Bigmac is it just me or is that homie 750 just a bit stronger then the husky. It seemed to pull a bit harder. Whats the cc of the 750?
The Homelite does have some more grunt and it is 111cc vs 99, The 2100 is quite a bit later though, and I think with just doing a base gasket delete , and the governor removal will make a big difference

Ported, 372s are tough to beat, but unported, I'll take the 044. Also, they are often a bit lighter, but weights can vary.

How much lighter is a 440/441 vs 460/461. The 461 I demoed seemed heavy compared to my 2171. It was a nice saw

There are a lot of different #s out there, some reflecting production changes, but generally 044s and 440s will weight 14 lbs or less (empty powerhead). The 441, 460 and 461 are all closer to 14.75 lbs.

Some 044s may be under 13.5 lbs. Cranks, Rods, Flywheels and other parts have all changed over the years resulting in a lot of different #s.
