Bagh, no biggie bro. Lots of great saws from all over. A 390 is like a supersized 372 for the most part.

There are more #s and alphabet designations than I will ever keep track of! Every now and then I think they are talking about one brand, and it turns out to be another.

Will my 390 pull a 36" bar? How about my 261, better with a 16" or a 20"?

Yes for 390.
I personally use 16 or 18" bars only with 261/260, in both .325 and 3/8. If I need bigger, I go to bigger saw.

Your 390 stihl is best with a 3 ft blade. Make sure the sharks teeth go the right way.

Good Examples! The two 390s are night + day different. Of course, as Jeff knows, when I think 390 its a Ford FE Motor!!! (Not the AMX)!

I was talking about a husky 261, which has more displacement than a stihl 360

According to Sluga’s 036/360 is 61.5
361/362 are 59
If I’m not mistaken 036/360 and the husky 261/262 are same bore and stroke
