Never had a minute to make a cut at the gtg.

I ran it, It is one vibrating sum *b-word. Goe's good but man do it vibrate.
I'm thinking the crank may be out of phase a hair.

Just an old clunker that was sitting around. We had Bret rework it to a 136cc piped play saw.

It was put in that basement after the gtg. Gotta get it out to make a cut.

The pipe is a beauty. So is the rest.

That saw got the nickname "hoppy" from this video. It's the saw with no bar in the middle.

Will have the crank worked over sometime. Also have a new set of case halves that could go on that saw.

I had a few junk 166 cranks and sent them to " The Crank Shop in Vermont" They were able
to make me 3 rebuilt cranks from the 5 I sent them. I had to find the lower rod bearing as
they couldn't locate any. Action Bearing in Boston got me a few. I still have a couple bearings
if you need one.

I said before I ran Kevins, Varney 166 alkie burner at Chardon .It had a lot moxie I'll say that .I had his other stocker about a week just to get the feel of the saw .They are definitely a collectors saw .

Going to let this nice Sachs Dolmar 166 go. Come with what looks like a Cannon 50 inch bar and 3/8 full skip full chisel chain with plenty of life left. Perfect runner. Needs a cleaning, Been on my shelf for a few years.
1200.00 plus the ride. Someone in it's previous life converted to the west coast filter.
