Nice one Carl, I still need to find me a 5 cube Remmy.

I have five.

Think that is too many?[emoji848]

Four are shelf queens.

Hi guys. I’m new here. I have only been collecting saws for about a year after coming across some of my granddads old Remington’s and a Lombard. Three saws have grown to seven and I throughly enjoying tinkering away with them. Here are a few pics so far. I only have PL4’s and PL5’s in the Remingtons but would dearly like to get my hands on a PL6 and PL7.FA32D2AA-F1AF-43B2-B905-57202CCFA28A.jpeg3459DBE3-350D-4528-92C4-05667821F108.jpegView attachment 205293

Thanks! It took me a while to get the paint right. I ended up using VHT paint but it has taken ages to harden properly. The next one I do I’m considering powder coating, is this a good idea?
Also I have had some trouble tuning the saw. I have completely rebuilt the motor using an aftermarket Homelite XL12 piston and cylinder kit and I did new bearings and seals including the O ring. I put a new kit in the carb too but it seems like you have to turn the low and high idle screws a lot to get much response. Is that normal? Thanks.

What I’d like is a clear copy of the Super 990 IPL.

The one I have was shot with a cell phone and sucks.

Howard the 880's are all by them selves and considered to be Remingtons Hot Rod saws
and considered to be very rare saws. I was lucky to get 2 super 880's this past year and
recently a super 880 geardrive. These saws have been on my wish list for years. They
never come up for sale or even seen. The geardrive i recently got is the only one I know of.

It listed them in the index. But the slots were empty. Not having any Remingtons I’ll probably just sell the manual. It is really cool and in great condition. I’ll give you a call maybe this weekend. If you’re around?
