So where is everyone ordering non hazmat items? Bullets, Brass, cleaning supplies, wads, shot, etc. Cheap or free shipping.
I am building a 6mm Rem and need brass and bullets if anyone has some to part with.

I buy most of my components from Midway or Graf & Sons.
Watch the sales and offers for free shipping.

If you like Nosler bullets, shooters pro shop has some smoking deals from time to time.

Do you sign up for email notices on deals. I am more partial to Hornady and Sierra. Tempted to try Berger.

I usually order jackets bullets and brass from Midway or Widner's. Even with shipping they are still cheaper than Cabela's or Sportman's Warehouse. Now, if my local shop has in stock something I want or need I'm not going to let a few dollars difference keep me from buying it. Most of my shooting is with lead slugs I cast, so I only go through a few hundred factory bullets a year.

Glad to see someone is giving .244 Express some love. What sort of rifle are you building? I'm a big fan of it's older brother, the .257 Roberts. I rebarrelled my Howa 1500 with a magnum sporter 1:10 24" tube from ER Shaw and it is a shooting machine with 117 grain Sierras.

I opted out of the emails from Midway. They send several a day.
I look at the website every couple of days.
Graf occasionally has great deals on Bullets, especially Hornady.

I like the Sierra 2200 in .308.
I've shot the 168gr Berger in .308 but they are a bit pricey and to me, not worth the extra $$.

I used to purchase from Midsouth Shooters Supply when I was out that way in TN. I quit reloading a while back, thinking about getting back I to it now.

All of the names named above are who I deal with and get emails from all.
Just have to do your home work and wait for a deal to roll in.

Yup. Squirted some Lee 309-113-RF out of my Mossberg 464 .30-30 today as a matter of fact. I am interested in that Lee .22 Bator mold, as I have a little Zastava 85 .223 that I bet would shoot it just great. Most of my casting is for .380, 9mm, .38 Special, and .30-30.

I signed up for midway over wknd. I think I got 3 emails already.
This particular gun started its life as a Win model 70 LA right handed (not sure of caliber). I bought it 20 yrs ago, rebarreled in a heavy 26 in match 6MM Rem, 1 in 10 twist. I was told Shilen barrel. It is stamped H. Kerr 4/76 on the side of barrel. Only marking on it. It had a stock wood stock opened up obviously. A straight weaver K-10 scope and a factory 3 lb trigger. I am a left handed shooter. So I tried to make it as comfortable for me as possible. It now has a Chaote Varmint stock, 1.4 lb target trigger, Nikon monarch BDC scope and a Harris adjustable bipod. Very limited on stocks for a Win LA 70, that is universal for left handed shooters. Working on loads. it seems to like a lot which isn't the norm for me. Haven't tried 100 gr bullets yet. It enjoys Varget powder. Id like to see a 600 yd groundhog with it this summer.

Hmm, interesting. At a shop in Lexington there was a similar rifle that was for sale forever and a day. It was also a model 70 and was a .220 Swift with a ridiculously thick barrel. As in, like 1" bar stock with a tiny hole in it. The rifle had a fancy Weatherby style stock complete with an ebony tip and grip cap. I suppose the previous owner used the hood of his Continental Mark IV as a bench rest.

+1 for midway and free shipping. I also do quite a bit with my LGS as they have a decent selection of powder and jacketed pills.

If it enjoys Varget, it might well like the Power Pro line from Alliant same or higher velocity with lower pressure. Still showing good accuracy as well.

Car., Have you dialed in your rifle scope and ammo using Nikon's Spot On Ballistic Program? Friends and I have shot soda cans at 600 yards using Spot On's data. Pretty amazing, but like any program, the more accurate the data you enter the better your results will be. We chrono all our loads for improved downrange accuracy.

I have a Nikon Buckmasters II 4-12x40 on my .257. I've been meaning to try out that program, seems like it would work quite well.

Still picking a load and then I will Chrony and hope for a low SD. But that is the type of accuracy I am looking for. Id love to get a 80gr or higher bullet to work. Anyone have an opinion about Hornady vs Win/Rem brass? Not many options for 6mm Rem.
