I have a Homelite 1130g with 4 reed valves that are slightly open, would say 1/16. But on my 1150 auto, they are closed. So I don't know if there are any specs that are exceptable. Thanx!

I would say they should be tight against the cage .I assume they are caged like the 2100 ? I've got the book some place ,I'll take a look see .

Fire it up, if it pops and snorts out the carb the reeds aren't seating . Those two saws mentioned should be 4 petal pyramids while the larger such as my avatar saw have 6 petal .I would have no idea where you could find replacement petals ,E-bay maybe ---more -

I've had luck on the 925 series to flip the reeds upside down. But assure they are symmetrical and when I did that, they weren't open 1/16, more like 1/64-1/32. Just a little.
If you can't find new ones, this is what I would try. Or try and massage them straight once removed from the cage?
