But the fungus got too it there was only 4-5 roots feeding the tree
Well at least it's good firewood. Could be a *s-wordty old pine tree laying there. Lol

I do indeed !!! ...You feel the benefit of a powered splitter with some Beech and cutting the stuff green makes all the difference.
That root plate was small with the rot in it , good job it came over in some ways and hurt no one ...no stump grinding ??

Work in progress from a recent land clearing. Madrona, cedar, some kinds of pine. The pine is so tight it's been unsplittable, so I may just stack the rounds and hope they are more manageable after some seasoning.

Got so into bucking I need to do a little tidying up of the round stack before anything else happens.

My father gave me a call this morning to tell me he saw a "free firewood" sign on the side of the road so I had to go check it out......If there is any left on Sunday I may pick up some more

Its been good. Bought used 15 yrs ago. I added the sides, they are puckboard??.plastic??
Side are removable. It also tilts.
Just replaced the springs..,and one crosspiece of 2x2 that rusted out.
Everybody and their dog has used it.
Overloaded an abused and keeps ticking.
Its a factory ATV trailer,,,company that made them is gone.

Picked this up Saturday about 1.5 miles from the house. They even loaded it for me. Loving it.
