we'll post the poll over here too. Been discussion on 3/8" or .404". Length we haven't decided but thought maybe doing 20" or even 28". Cut4fun can do a 12x12 or I can do 4 12x12 stacked together to run 28". Power will be decided after the chain is picked.

I've got a ton of 25" loops, so I'd rather choose the 20", I just don't have a 20" bar

I have one 21" large mount bar now. I'll probably pick up another one from the dealer since he has one more. I kind of like the idea of a 28" like Adam from California liked. His shortest race chain is 84 dl

It doesn't matter to me. I just threw it out there if we wanted to do bigger than a 12x12 I can do it. I built my stand huge just to be able to put 24" of square cants up there.

Is wood species picked ?
Not yet. That's the reason for the poll. Size will determine a lot of it. Cut4fun can do a single 12x12 as the biggest. I can get any hardwoods just it gets expensive for the oak cants. Probay be sycamore, gum, or pine. All are pretty cheap when you're buying 4 of them.

I have .063 presets that fit. No .050" for oregon chain.
