That fan is obviously coded as "run to maintenance". :D

Looks like the same tower we have at work. If you look closely there is a small platform about 2/3 to 3/4 the way up the outside. At that point the ladder turns around and you finish climbing with your back facing the tower. Ours is like 580ft tall. No I've never climbed it but I would if given the opportunity. I have been inside it but not during operations, its wet. :)

These are 650’ or close. I’d like to climb up at sunset and see it.

That's pretty cool you captured that.
Do you guys kill them fox or where you trying to catch something else..

The grey squirrel does not have any predators here, the only thing that kills them is the roads.
They eat lots of fruit as well as bird eggs. Some see them as fluffy nice things. Others see them as tree rats. We don’t have red squirrels because of the grey rats.
I got a legal trap. Its working very well, I have a friend who makes some Fishing Lures, also artist paint brushes from the tails.
I did try and BBQ one the other day and there was very little meat. Not really worth the effort,
I thought I’d tease and test the foxes, to see how cunningly they can be.
The first nite I used the wrong string and set it a bit to low, so the next nite I changed it and it worked, they were at it all nite....lol.

I don’t care for foxes, I see them as vermin, only farmers and roads kill them but others city folk see them as nice, there are so many in the cities, because there is a steady supply of food for them..

I have know idea how the fox got onto the tiny branch, it’s no thicker than my little finger.

Sad about the red squirrel. They are rare in these parts, too. I think it was Sir David Douglas of Douglas Fir fame that brought them here, too. Along with the many North American trees he and the RBS brought over. The gray squirtels are much more aggro than the native red, and basically displace them.

Foxes do as foxes do. Sort of like how back home I left coyotes alone(though being part Cherokee also has sumfin to do with it). Predators have it tough. I tend to leave them alone. Chickens though...

Our red squirrels around here are way bigger than the greys. In fact you only see the greys when you head up to the bluffs east of town.

Ya thats in inchs. And yes 20 minuts. I was standing at the window whennit started and you could just watch the yard start filling with water in the low spots. It was pretty crazy how hard it was raining. It sure did wake up my sump pump.

That's a lot in a short time.
In 2011 not long after we bought this place we had 6.5 in 2 hrs .
My wife and I were in the basement with a 5 gallon bucket, a 20 trash can, and a wet dry vac working for a couple house on one spot where it was coming in thru a small window that was near the gutter downspout. I made a lot of trips up and down the basement steps that night and I was exhausted by the time it slowed, during the height of the flow it was like some one was standing there holding a hose with the valve wide open, and we were also trying ng to clean up what made it in before we could get to it. We didn't even know it was coming in until it stopped raining and I could hear it hitting the floor. Once we got that all 'under control" basically meaning I could do it by myself so my wife could take a break, she was headed upstairs, then she said "hey you're gonna want to see this", oh great, what now .
So I go over there and see water flowing out of a room in the basement, I walk around the corner and the water is still up on the window, it looked like an aquarium, not good. I told my wife to go to the store and buy the biggest wet dry vac she could. I took the next day off and rented a skid steer and a huge dehumidifier and fixed the grade around the house, the north end was tapered into the house for daylight windows and the water filled the whole thing up.
We have no sump pump in the basement (it's not really finished but the one large room), fortunately we are in sand/gravel here and the water drains well, we've never had a leak from the walls only the windows.
Got some pictures, although the quality is of a bit lesser quality, I'll probably be saying the same about the ones I took this yr in 8yrs too lol.
These are after it slowed down.

That's a great deal!
I always liked to attach them to the top of the hood and then run them down to below the front bumper, two would work nice on his ride, and I'd prefer orange as it is my favorite color :D.
