It was like California that made most heavy equipment put on catalytic converters...equipment was cheap here in Oregon! Lots of people were losing it here shorts in California!

All those trucks will be sold to michiganders, last I knew the oldies were still being grandfathered in, lots of older build date trailers with super singles on eight axles up here lol.

I learn something new every day.
Husqvarna logo is a rifle sight , since they started making muskets in 1689.
Modern logo introduced in 1973.

That's funny, I thought of all you would have known. I learned it thru a buddy who cut concrete for many years, he asked me if I know what it was and I said no, ye said look at it what's it look like, I got it, I am a little slow after all.

I got VHS tapes running it in competition 35 years ago.
That's my limit with videos:banana:

My local camera shop can put that on dvd.
USB video grabber will do the trick as well.

I still have a couple VHS tapes that require digitalization, which is the only reason why I still have a VHS player.

I always thought the logo was a Swedish crown of their king , seeing how their society looks up to their royal family.
The sad thing is I never had a thought about it, what's sad about that is I did sign installs for yrs so I'm pretty up on the visuals that go into a logo, then add in it's one of my favorite products.
At least you had given it some sort of thought, me nothing, but I like the orange, wonder if there's a reason for that too?

The ktm 380 is a good motor, or...View attachment 177795
Yep those DC Hondas Dennis is loyal to are proven.
But I'm not out to break any world records, Lol.
I had a real hard time deciding between the 1999-2018 YZ250 and the 2000-2003 KTM 380sx engines and still not fully decided......
Lots of parts and performance stuff available for the YZ, not so much for the KTM.
But I like the KTM case reed induction and its high displacement for a 250 class lightweight saw that puts out good reliable power stock. Start with that...add later.

But tons of YZ250- 325- 345 performance kits at a good price. Eddie Sanders does really good work with the YZ kits for example.

Ya the ktm is a little harder to get parts for , it’s such a small production run, the yz would nice for parts and the esr big bore is a great option, the Trx250r that dc uses is esr as well, I am partial to the trx!lolD400A502-C964-4B88-85DA-F276E5F9BA87.jpeg

Thanks for the DC info Bigmac. I really appreciate it.
I'm just getting back into competition saws after a 20 year break just organizing and running a annual local logger sports event.

Here would be an interesting hotsaw build. 2018 KTM 250/300 direct transfer port fuel injected 2 stroke. They're out to keep the 2 stroke in the future.

Tom Sawyered my nephew into doing the ball joints on the other side of the cummins! He did a great job. Just under 2 hours with some direction from me. My knees and legs are happy today!
