That's cuz ya'll cant drive in Missouri......
Not all of us! I enjoy driving past 4-wheel drives in the ditch in any vehicle I have! 70's Ford wagon after ice storm a few decades ago, before road crews got out. Any year VW is a blast, cavalier a few years ago passed a string of ten cars doing under 30 mph in a few inches of snow. No problem at sixty myself:jaja-no: love it

How much boost did the ecu record?

Not sure. Most of the freeze frame and failure record stuff we are able to see, its hard to trust it because its not always accurate.
I think the 1.5 makes up to 18lbs. Not sure on that.
Only had 800 miles. Its a little old lady. Said it happened when she tried to pass a car, lost power, check engine light.
Im guessing it was bad from the factory and its the first time it saw wide open throttle!

Ha, no.
My oldest, going on 13, is already beginning to enter the phase where it's not cool to hang with Mom and Dad, so we want to be able to do it while we still can.
My wife and I did not get to travel much with our own parents as kids, so maybe it's just us compensating for that!
Plus, they travel well. Of course, they have to pee within the first hour, but after that they go quite a while.
