Finished my garage lift.
All build from scratch with lumber left over from other projects.
We keep holiday decorations and other stuff in the garage attic. Getting too old for using the stairs to bring it all up and down.
Another positive is that I can also use it as a temp work bench for smaller projects like chainsaws.
Store the parts on the lift, clearing real work bench space. When done for the day, raise it up.....

If I had taken more pictures.... Will have to look.
As for hanging a deer from it..... I guess.
Without the cable doubler on the wench it will handle 500lbs (the limit of the wench), with the doubler, close to 900lbs

I installed cables, pulleys, and other hardware to handle a total of 1000lbs.
